Only one?....

Thanksgiving was never meant to be shut up in a single day.
~Robert Caspar Lintner.

Hearts Desire...

It doesn't interest me what you do for a living.
I want to know what you ache for,
and if you dare to dream
of meeting your heart's longing."

Never, never, never

"Sometimes it is the artist's task to find out how much music you can still make with what you have left."

Itzhak Perlman - after breaking a string on his violin on stage - requiring changing the whole configuration of the piece - and continuing with the classic performance.

"Never, never, never,  never, never, never give up."  Winston Churchill

Imagination - Life's Coming Attractions

"Imagination is more important than knowledge.  It is

the preview of life's coming attractions."  ~ Einstein

Charles Fillmore, co-founder of Unity, states that the faculty of imagination is seated in the center of our forehead.  Many Eastern traditions would call that the "third eye," - also indicating the flow of ideas  comes into that part of our being.  Intuitive flashes also seem to come in this place.  Many inventors attest to this intuitive flow for their designs, processes and products.

Again, Einstein had it right.

Hurry -Worry Not

"Hurry and Worry both come from an ego-state of mind."  Charles Roth, Unity Minister, Indianapolis IN.

When I hurry I'm really saying, "I'm so important that my presence will disrupt the whole thing."  Maybe it will - then we need to trust that order will prevail.

My focus on a wrong outcome for someone or something lends a hold-back energy - sometimes call negative prayer.  Tom Moore, author of "The Gentle Way," suggests we view these upcoming situations as having "Benevolent Outcomes,"  inspiring many of us to quickly say, "MBO," - Many Benevolent Outcomes, as we go our ways.

This is a charming way to more through our days,
    MBO to you, my Friend

The Brave

The brave only know how to forgive - it is the most refined and generous pitch of virtue human nature can arrive at.
