Our First Love - Freedom

The Dalai Lama provides such pure and simple wisdom for us.  He
believes that freedom is a human need.  In fact, he wonders if it
extends to the animal kingdom because he has a cat.  He said that the
cat has all the cat needs.  People feed him; they pet him, but if the
window is cracked open he will run away.

No matter how good things are, when we are controlled, we want out.
